Since V3 the installation of the compass software to control Meyersound Galileo (and other of their products) has become quite annoying. It wants to install an apple printer driver and requires internet connection...

But there is an easy way to get around that:

on the download page: do NOT choose the bundled install
you don't need the apple bonjour print service driver
download the avdeccproxy and the winpcap-driver to your harddrive as well as the compass installer
install the avdeccproxy
install the winpcap-driver
only now run the compass installer and it should run as expected
